It is really big and SOLID Wood, so it is VERY HEAVY. It does come apart in two pieces, the hutch and base. The top has doors that are pocket so they hide while watching tv. There is slot for a cable box or such and also a drawer inside the hutch so that you can put stuff into. The base for the television does pull out and swivel a bit. The base has 2 drawers and a cabinet with shelves inside.
